Digital Media Sales Manager - Leighton Engage

The Digital Media Sales Manager (DMSM) is responsible for leading, managing, developing, and directing digital media sales for Leighton Engage through collaboration with Leighton Media. Through collaboration with local markets, the DMSM will be responsible for driving digital media revenue and developing new direct digital advertising clients in the local markets. In this role, you will identify, implement, and accelerate strategic digital sales initiatives to meet and exceed goals. This will be accomplished by working with local market sales team and management. Leighton Media helps local and national clients grow their businesses year-over-year by providing customized strategic digital marketing solutions that solve their business needs and enhanced reporting designed to connect marketing and business goals.

Your main responsibility will be to drive digital revenue growth of Leighton Engage, and you will be the subject matter expert for digital advertising products, strategies, and processes. Expertise is required in digital advertising products including; targeted display, digital video (pre-roll, CTV, etc), digital audio, SEO-organic and local, paid social, SEM, website development, and project management. Subject matter expertise is required in the programmatic ad buying process, vendors, platforms, and processes, Google Analytics and reporting to connect to advertiser goals and metrics, and the latest trends in the industry. Your expertise will be required in digital advertising and marketing to help attract, retain and grow the Leighton Engage customer base.

The DMSM works with market Management and Leighton Engage Strategists to accomplish the following:

· Develop strategic sales plans to enhance digital sales growth

· Deployment

o Develop sales strategies for success in using new products

o Develop and lead training curriculum for Engage team members, local market management, and Media Consultants

· Build buy-in and trust with local market Media Consultants and Management to drive appointment setting for the Engage team

Specific responsibilities include:

· Responsible for setting and achieving digital sales goals and individual market goals

· Coach and inspire Engage strategists and Leighton Media Local Market team members

· Join and participate in client meetings

· Assess and manage product mix and performance to ensure top-notch marketing solutions are available and provided to Leighton Engage clients

· Manage vendor partnerships and identify opportunities for new partnerships

· Provide reporting guidance and support to Engage team members

· Manage aging and payment collections

Requirements and Experience:

· Experience as a Digital Sales Manager, Sales Manager or more

· Experience in leadership of an outside sales force

· Digital expertise and continued learning

· Steady progression as a sales leader
