Position: Media Consultant

Reports to: Sales Manager

Leighton Media Media Consultant establishes and maintain marketing partnerships with area businesses and develop creative ad campaigns & promotions to increase their business. In this role, you’ll work alongside a small team of other Media Consultants to achieve market goals.

Responsibilities:

• Seek out new clients and grow existing client accounts.
• Assist Sales Manager with budget planning and sales projections.
• Attend weekly team meetings and provide progress updates.
• Utilize existing software programs for sales management, revenue order entry, and project management.
• Achieve monthly sales goals and annual revenue targets.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Ability to persevere to achieve goals.
• Exude passion, energy and enthusiasm about Leighton Media.
• Ability to develop creative solutions for clients.
• General understanding of digital, events, and broadcast marketing opportunities.
• Self-driven and results-focused with a willingness to learn & grow.
• Strong communication & organization skills.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft 360 Office Suite is preferred.
• Two-year degree or higher in Sales/Business/Marketing or sales experience equivalent may be helpful but not required.

Pay Range is $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience

Join Leighton Media in serving, connecting and celebrating our community. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, outgoing, and have exceptional communications skills to join our promotions team in St. Cloud. In the role, you will be responsible for on-site set-up & support for station events and sales promotions. Team members will earn $15/hour to start and work 20+ hours per week (flexible schedule). Great for a college student or someone looking for a fun, part-time job.

To be successful, you’ll need:

» a valid driver’s license

» a good driving record

» to be 18 years of age or older

» to be available to work nights, weekends and/or holidays

Pay Rate $15/Hour

Reports to:  Sales Manager 

Type: Part-Time 

Leighton Media Sales and Marketing Interns are responsible for assisting local sales teams in all aspects of their job, to gain an understanding for the art of sales and marketing. You will be responsible for tasks that assist Leighton Media in growing a client base, reaching station and monthly sales goals.  

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Assisting in the creation of signage and promotional form 

• Analysis of marketing and sales data 

• Preparing presentations 

• Assisting Sales staff with proposals 

• Assisting with the input of national client orders 

Qualifications: 

• Junior or Senior, actively enrolled in college 

• Majoring in Marketing/Sales/Advertising or an applicable field 

• Microsoft 360 Office Suite knowledge is preferred but not required 

• High Detail 

• Strong communication skills 

Pay Rate $15/Hr
