Reports to: General Manager

Positions Summary: The General Sales Manager role is responsible for achieving or exceeding market revenue goals and lead the development of members of the sales team in broadcast, digital and events. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Lead and prepare for weekly sales meetings

· Attend meetings with Media Consultants with their clients 

· Create and execute revenue generating sales ideas for broadcast, digital and events divisions 

· Daily usage of software programs to measure overall revenue growth and Media Consultants progress 

· Lead, manage and hold accountable Media Consultants 

· Own financial metrics of the sales department including pricing inventory, expense management, weekly revenue, pacing and forecasting 

· Exude passion, energy and enthusiasm about Leighton Media and opportunities for business within our company to help clients achieve their business goals 

Qualifications: 

· Experience as a proven sales leader in the role of account executive or higher 

· Comprehension of overall broadcast marketing opportunities including digital and events 

· Strong communication skills 

· Proficiency in Microsoft 360 Office Suite required 

Pay Range $100k - $120k

Job Summary: Leighton Media Detroit Lakes, is looking to add an energetic, driven, detail orientated individual to our company.

The role of Sales and Marketing Coordinator allows you to be the essential piece in our organization, connecting our On-Air and Sales Departments as well as our company with our community! This position is full of variety and it will be a challenge to find any one day exactly like the last. Daily tasks include: creating informational sheets for sales promotions and presentations, assisting the sales team with general needs, generation of sales and billing reports, and more. Additional tasks you could be asked to be a part of include: assisting with the coordination of select companywide training, the organization and direction of select company gatherings/events, greeting clients, customers, and answering the phone for general inquires and questions.

Experience:

  • Seek out new clients and grow existing client accounts.
  • Assist Sales Manager with budget planning and sales projections.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Utilize existing software programs for sales management, revenue order entry, and project management.
